With this ring, I thee wed…

This is the actual picture of my ring that I sent to all of our family and friends immediately after Mark proposed. It doesn't quite do it justice, but Mark custom-made my ring, so I can't find an exact picture on the Internet. Mark bought my ring at Iowa Diamond in Des Moines, IA - we were living in Ames, IA attending Iowa State University at the time. We recently went back to Iowa Diamond pick out my matching wedding band and his wedding band. My wedding band will match the band of my engagement ring perfectly. It has 10 small round diamonds, just like the engagement band (except the engagement band only has 8). The 2nd picture is similar to how mine will look with the wedding band, but not exact.

 Mark ended up picking out a very simple 5mm palladium ring. I love the simplicity of the ring and the fact that it is maintains its color and is more durable than gold, but you can still have it resized and reshaped. We ordered the rings and are having them held at Iowa Diamond until we want to pick them up (probably right before the wedding so we do not lose them!). We are considering having something engraved on them as well :)
